Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2 to 4 p.m.
If necessary we offer consulting not only in German or English, but also in Farsi, Arabic and French.
Statewide individual counseling
We offer counseling (by phone, e-mail and, if necessary, personally) for persons directly concerned, professionals or volunteers, relatives and supporters.

Labor market projects (WIR)

Admission and Integration (network project AMBA)

Counseling in pre-deportation detention
Since August 2016 the Refugee Council offers free legal consultation for people in the central pre-deportation facility of Lower Saxony (Langenhagen). Not only do we provide lawyers for the prisoners who need them, we also monitor the detention conditions and represent the prisoners‘ interests to the prison.

Family reunification
We offer counseling for refugees, counseling centers and initiatives and are in contact with the embassies, the Foreigners‘ Registration Office (Ausländerbehörde) and the relatives. Together with PRO ASYL we also set demands and advocate the right for family reunification for recognized refugees and refugees with subsidiary protection.

WIB. Ways to the right to stay
The Refugee Council is pleased to introduce a new project. WIB aims at pointing out ways how people who have been living with a „Duldung“ (= who have been tolerated by the state) for a long time can acquire a secure right of residence. Beginning with an analysis of the reasons why refugees haven’t been able to acquire a legal right to stay, we want to develop and try out concepts to overcome remaining obstacles.
